Natural gas

A permanently supplied natural-gas outdoor kitchen needs a grill configured and approved for natural gas, with the gas supply sized and connected according to the manufacturer’s instructions and applicable requirements.

Propane

Propane installations may use an approved cylinder arrangement or another permitted LP supply. Cabinet ventilation and cylinder-storage requirements matter.

Do not assume conversion is allowed

Conversion capability varies by manufacturer and model. Never assume a grill can be converted simply by changing an orifice. Confirm the manufacturer’s instructions for the exact model.
